Urgent Need: Relief for Western Afghanistan Earthquake
According to the World Food Programme, over half of Afghanistan's population lives below the poverty level, resulting in nearly 23 million people facing food insecurity. This widespread hardship, coupled with large-scale malnourishment, puts citizens—especially children—at heightened risk of contracting diseases. In the past, your support has allowed us to focus on addressing these challenges by providing monthly food packages to vulnerable populations and medical treatments for children to combat preventable health issues.
Currently, Afghan Family Aid has shifted its focus to emergency assistance and crisis response. We are dedicated to supporting believers facing severe risks, such as imprisonment or death, by facilitating their safe evacuation. We provide transportation out of the country, professional assistance with the complex visa and passport processes, support for living expenses during resettlement, and access to temporary housing. For those who choose to remain in Afghanistan to continue Gospel Witness and discipleship, we offer ongoing access to safe houses.
As these brothers and sisters resettle, Afghan Family Aid is committed to equipping them with training and resources to launch economic self-sustaining development ventures, fostering long-term stability and independence.
