​Afghanistan is experiencing a rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis. 

According to the World Food Programme, over half of Afghanistan's population lives below the poverty level, leaving almost 23 million food insecure. Along with the large-scale malnourishment, this leaves citizens, children especially, at risk for contracting diseases. We are working to combat each of these preventable issues through monthly food packages focused on the vulnerable and monthly medical treatments for children.

For believers having to flee the country due to the severe risk of imprisonment and even death, our team has been working tirelessly to arrange passages to safety. Believers are provided with transportation out of the country, professional assistance for the lengthy visa and passport process, support for their living expenses as they wait to resettle and temporary housing. For those choosing to stay in the country to continue Gospel Witness and discipleship, we provide ongoing safe houses for their use.

As these brothers and sisters resettle, the Afghan Family Aid team desires to train and launch them in economic self-sustaining development ventures.
