Hot Coals exists to catalyze new and existing Jesus movements in Southeast Asia by supporting local workers transformed by these movements themselves.
Local believers are among the most effective in growing these movements because they have a deep understanding of and come from the culture. However, many lack the support systems typical for field workers, such as financial backers or a sending church.
Hot Coals invests in these dedicated believers, enabling them to focus on training and inspiring others to share their passion for expanding Jesus’ movements. These workers also address practical needs, such as follow-up ministry, translation, and other areas where cultural familiarity is crucial. This past year, 200 people proclaimed Jesus as Lord and were baptized by local workers —a significant breakthrough as we tirelessly share the Gospel with those who have never heard it.
