After coming to know the Lord at a young age by reading his father's Bible, all Ben wanted to do was study the Word and introduce others to God's love he experienced in the Gospel of John. That desire still rings true through his ministry today.
After the fall of Afghanistan to Taliban control, Ben began meeting with Afghan brothers and sisters to encourage and disciple them through the very uncertain path of resettlement. He leads Bible studies with these refugees, and has helped many through the practical steps of visa applications.
At the start of 2022, Ben launched a podcast to share the Gospel and reach Afghans staying in the country and those now spread around the globe. In the first year, the podcast reached 33 countries with the biggest audiences being in the US, Iran, and Afghanistan. Ben leads the Media team who are assisting in responding to messages and discipling podcast listeners.
Alongside these global ministries, Ben and his wife, Maryssa, host Bible studies for those in their own community and look forward to planting an Afghan church for believers to gather and worship in their own language.
