The average family has $2,450 of debt. An impossible sum when they make $5 for 1000 bricks, $0.60/hour.

Tell me more about brick slavery.
There are over 3 million brick slaves in Pakistan. Whole families live and work at these factories. For many, the debt is generational and hard labor is all they know. Children don't attend school, medical care is expensive and hard to get and living conditions are extremely rough.
What happens after you pay off a family's debt?
Many of these workers have grown up in brick factories, do not have other job skills or know how to manage money. That's why Tim and Ashlea are building a comprehensive discipleship program to address the issue holistically. They want these families to have good housing, earn a livable wage, be able to send their children to school and learn about their God-given identity. The transformation will take years and they are committed to the work long-term.
