The Afghan Bible Gift is an initiative to put a Bible into the hands of as many new Afghan believers and seekers as possible and introduce them to the love God offers through the Gospel.
English as a second language requires an immense investment; many Afghans are not able to read and fully understand an English translation. Afghan Bible Gift provides copies of the Bible in their own language that they are excited to study, one that makes sense to them, and for refugees resettled abroad: one that offers them a piece of home.
Obtaining copies of the Bibles in specific languages, like Farsi, can take weeks. Building an inventory of Bibles allows the team to distribute them immediately to those interested.
